At Stillwater Grill, we provide exceptional value to our guests with moderate pricing and a diverse menu based on our Chef’s creative direction. The menu features local and seasonal items freshly prepared and uniquely styled. Our menu is designed for guests to enjoy a full range of options including appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, chops, seafood, fresh fish from Foley’s of Boston, and desserts. Specialty menu items that Stillwater is known for are the Cajun Tenderloin Tips, Prime Rib, Center Cut Sirloin and Pork Chops along with a selection of fresh catch including Salmon, White Fish, Tilapia and Cod. The Signature dessert is The Gusher, a chocolate frosted brownie and French vanilla ice cream topped with rich hot fudge and whipped cream, served in a ridiculously large portion enough to share! The expansive beverage list features a diverse selection of wines, draft and bottled beers, specialty cocktails and martini’s along with a variety of liquors for everyone to enjoy.
The restaurant seats up to 264 guests and seasonal outdoor patio seating for up to 64 guests. The Brighton location offers a full bar, indoor seating, and outdoor seating May through September alongside the Mill Pond. Most guests are between 25-55 years old. This location is a local favorite for large party gatherings, birthdays and anniversaries.
Stillwater Grill was established by Robert Ressler in Brighton, Michigan in June 1997. As a locally owned and operated restaurant, it quickly became a local favorite as one of the area’s largest fine dining restaurants that offered a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Upon retirement, Gessler very selectively chose Mainstreet Ventures’ as the new parent company to further advance the Stillwater brand and to help continue to build strong community relationships. Both Ressler and Mainstreet Ventures’ had a common goal to exceed our guests’ expectations by providing the best quality food and service. The Brighton location officially became a Mainstreet Ventures’ restaurant on March 23, 2016 and Okemos soon followed on April 18, 2016.
The Brighton location was voted best restaurant in Livingston County for 17 years straight since inception.
Continuing the standard set by the Brighton location, a second store was opened in Okemos, Michigan in June 2000. The Okemos Stillwater Grill also quickly became a local favorite gathering spot for nearby Michigan State University fans, students and faculty.
